CranberryUSA, a generous dental supply company, offers partial scholarships for pre-dental and pre-dental hygiene students who have both a passion and enthusiasm for bringing oral health education and dental care to children in need around the world.

Since 2017, CranberryUSA has partnered with Global Dental Relief to send 12 students into 5 countries, bringing much needed dental care to children across the globe.

This scholarship program is an excellent way for future dentists and hygienists to experience their future career in a whole new way!

Scholarship Details

Successful applicants will receive a $750 scholarship to be used towards a GDR trip to Cambodia, Mexico, Guatemala, Nepal, India or Kenya.
Successful applicants will be responsible for the remainder of their project fees as well as roundtrip, international airfare to the clinic site.
Recipients will be required to submit post-trip photos, videos and a short reflection essay (500 words).
CranberryUSA will award an addition $250 cash to scholarship recipients upon acceptance into dental / dental hygiene school.

Global Dental Relief clinics are accomplished by teams of volunteers working together - bringing their talents, efforts and energy - to provide free dental care to children in need. Please explain what skills you would bring to a GDR team. What are your strengths and weaknesses.

This scholarship pays for a portion of the total project fee. Successful applicants will be required to cover the remaining project fee and international airfare. How do you plan to cover the remaining costs of attending a clinic?

CranberryUSA provides scholarships to support students with a passion for dental care and service. In return, they would like to hear from scholarship recipients about their experience overseas with Global Dental Relief.

Successful applicants are required to submit the following deliverables to CranberryUSA within one month of their trip concluding. Submission of the following ensures final scholarship payment of $250 upon acceptance into a dental or hygiene program.

Share experience on personal social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram
